Fully professional room disinfection in La Val Hotel & Spa
All our hotel rooms are professionally disinfected before check-in using a fogging procedure.
Fogging disinfection is a completely new hygiene standard. While conventional manual disinfection only removes 60-70% of germs, fully automated fogging disinfection gets rid of 99.99%.
A highly compressed stream of air through the spray head in the generator disperses the disinfectant into a cloud of suspended droplets (an aerosol). These droplets then diffuse in their millions throughout the room in all directions, disinfecting every corner and surface, including areas that may be difficult to reach using standard cleaning methods.
The special disinfectant product is made of electrochemically modified water. It is pH neutral and has no synthetic additives. It has a very high redox potential, which is what gives it its disinfecting power: it eliminates 99.99% of microorganisms.
The disinfectant is a bactericide, virucide and fungicide. It is not a hazardous substance, does not contain alcohol or any synthetic products, is non-toxic to humans and the environment, and was rated “VERY GOOD” in dermatological tests.

What’s different from usual
For prevention purposes, upon check in our reception team will measure your body temperature to detect fever cases immediately.
At present, we are serving breakfast as usual, in the form of our lavish La Val breakfast buffet
We will show you to your table for every meal to ensure we can adhere to the necessary distancing requirements.
When you are checking out, make sure to comply with the distancing requirements, such as not standing close together in a queue. To avoid this, you are very welcome to settle your bill on the evening before you leave.
The sauna and steam room may each only be used by a maximum of 4 people at once.
At present, a maximum of 10 people may use the pool at once.
The loungers in the relaxation room, by the pool and on the sun terrace may not be moved. Groups of loungers may only be used by individuals from the same household or staying in the same hotel room.
It is obligatory to wear a mask, throughout the entire hotel, except when you are sitting at a table or at the hotel bar, or in the sauna and on the loungers in the spa.
You should be familiar with the conduct recommended by the Federal Office of Public Health and maintain the recommended distancing measures and hygiene protocols at all times. Please ensure you stay at least 1.5 m away from other guests.
You feel well and do not have any symptoms such as a fever, sore throat and/or cough. If you feel unwell and have the above symptoms, or have had them over the past two weeks, please let us know and do not come to our hotel until you are better.
We would like to point out that, despite all the precautions and safety measures we have taken, it is, of course, possible that you may be infected with the COVID-19 virus at our hotel.
